A while ago motion-sensor paper towel dispensers were installed, and many people were frustrated as they didn't dispense nearly enough towel to get one's hands dry. People would wait out the delay and get multiple sheets. Apparently enough people complained, because about a week ago the electronic guts were replaced with manual ones. However people pulled towels to the side, resulting in needing to open the thing up to manually re-feed it to acquire towels. The next day, the paper signs pictured to the right appeared. Of course people didn't read it until after they got half a towel and jammed it, so the next day someone added the second part of the note. That was about a week ago. This morning I noticed someone added "That's what she said". The sign was gone after lunch.
No, it seems I only see someone else there less than half the time. They probably wouldn't have noticed even if they were there.
LOL; two replacement cycles, and they still don't work? Those Kimberly-Clarke ones routinely got jammed when I was still there! I mentioned it to Brian H., I mentioned it during my exit interview, I put it in the suggestion box.
It really is a minor thing, but I'm puzzled why it seems so hard to fix? I've never worked anyplace else that had this problem so systematically. Amusing.
That you mentioned paper towel dispensers in your exit interview is just awesome.
I heard that apparently some of the problems with the automatic ones were related to them not being designed for the usage level they were seeing (it seems that could have been caught before getting them). The sad part about all this is the manual ones they put in probably shortly after you left were working well. The only times I noticed problems was when they were empty (which isn't really the dispenser's fault).
"The sad part about all this is the manual ones they put in probably shortly after you left were working well."
Figures! :-)
LOL... I can't believe you mentioned it in the exit interview! I think I'm going to start a collection of all the little things that I notice around here, and just unload at my interview someday :). Take for instance the bathroom in question... They redo the entire bathroom, but leave the door which has a permenent black stain on in from where people push it open.... or the 15" diameter stain outside our hallway in the middle of the carpet that they take the tour past every week. It actually doesn't bother me, but it is tacky.

That is funny... Anyone give you strange looks when you pulled out the camera in the bathroom?
