I put together the random redirect again, but with a database backend so it's faster, more stable, and more scalable. It even has realtime stats now.

"Security vulnerabilities are here to stay." - Scott Culp, Manager of the Microsoft Security Response Center

Anyone else think it's scary to hear Microsoft say that?

The nation of Apache users would like to extend our deepest sympathy to citizens of Microsoft IIS. We deeply feel your pain at the loss of over 5000 of your webservers to suicide attacks by nimda pilots. - maroberts

OK, so maybe I'm just a bit frustrated by all the MS "features" that certain people who we all wish were a bit nicer keep finding.

Well, it was announced today that Dave got my old job. Now he's set for school too. I hope I find out where my new office is soon... Life's getting crazy as we get ready for school to start. On a side note, if you don't mind, sign the Petition For Life petition at grassfire.

Well, decided to have some fun and make Joel Cards. This is one morning at work when he was bored (one of those days where the helpdesk gets 2 calls the entire day) and asked me to take a picture of his new haircut to show some people. He was tired and when I came down with the camera it took him a second to react. :) If you know Joel, or know anyone who knows Joel, send one today!

Well, the Ham Practice Tests apparently have been moved. They have some issues in there code that prevents rendering in Mozilla too. :( Hopefully they will have that fixed soon. As for work, pretty much everyone's abandoned Access and gone to the web because it's faster and has more features that are practically impossible to get into access (last view of a row, email on updates, etc.).

Figured I should probably put something up here since the WSJ expired the last article link I posted. :( Nothing much new, except I think I finally got all the bugs worked out of the main Access DB at work (our incident tracking one) after moving it to a real SQL database. Seems whoever created it didn't realise #'s /'s and ''s aren't good things to have in field names. I've also got a complete web interface to it pretty much completed, so people are happy they can start ditching MS Access.

An article I find amusing. Especially how they either try to find and excuse and fail miserably or admit they have no explanation for them contradicting themselves..

Amateur Radio Practice Tests - It seems I'm giving out this address more and more, and can never remember it off the top of my head, so here it is.
