Primarily as a note to myself, as finding the right info in a search can be a pain, especially getting them all together.
$ sudo vi /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
$ sudo /sbin/service snmpd start
$ sudo /sbin/chkconfig snmpd on
$ sudo /usr/sbin/esxcfg-firewall -e snmpd
May be announced next week. Of course that's according to CNET. Would be cool if it happens though. I wonder if it'll ever run on the new Intel Macs.
