Yea, the boxes took up a ton of room, and were apparently annoying for working on them, so they are in a spare rack until the network guys install them.
Very cool. They look like Cisco WS-C2954G-GEs? We have a few of those around here and they're quite nice.
They're actually Enterasys c3s. We did an evaluation them vs Cisco a while back, and ended up going Enterasys because of differences in port-to-backplane grouping and bandwith.
Also, I don't know specific models offhand, but they're 24 or 48 port, 10/100/1000, with 4 gbic slots. A mix of regular and POE switches.
So my questions is, are they actually new or did they come from eBay?
That would mean I spent way too much time getting the reflections right though...
