So apparently the reason the audio sucked was because the NFL was being paranoid and intentionally cutting lines. You know it's bad when they're cutting out old guys saying stuff that doesn't come close to what is on most radio stations and pretty much any prime time TV show. Apparently advertising agencies are blaming the state of the ads on the same issue. Choice quote from the second one: "[Ellis] Verdi said people probably think GoDaddy.com is a porn site." While their tactics are a little odd, at least they're persistent (13 rejected attempts) and make a point.
